| Peter
relocated from Long Island, New York to Sanibel Island in
1992. He soon became an active Rotarian with the Sanibel-Captiva
Rotary Club and has held a number of director's positions
before becoming president in 1996. The majority of his time
with Rotary was spent on fund-raising activities and the distribution
of funds to worthwhile recipients. During his tenure as President,
Peter was responsible for the highly successful Sanibel Arts
and Crafts Fair, the club's largest fundraiser.
In
addition, Peter has been involved with Habitat for Humanity
and participated in the construction of a number of homes.
The organization builds homes in the community for qualifying
low-income families, enabling them to experience home ownership
by means of "sweat equity" involvement.
Peter
is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant
and participates in industry study groups. Hobbies include
photography, scuba diving, and roller-blading. He is married
to Ellen and has two daughters. The Kitzerow family lives
in South Fort Myers. |
